The Vermont Philharmonic is a non-profit, volunteer orchestra dedicated to providing classical music to Central and Northern Vermont since 1959! By providing opportunities for both playing and listening to orchestral music, it attracts artists, professionals and key members of the business community who in turn make significant contributions to the economy. Sponsoring the Vermont Philharmonic brings in not only music for Vermont, but also customers for your business. The Philharmonic gives about 11 concerts a year, and sponsors are listed in all of the programs. Our programs include the traditional classical repertoire, works of contemporary Vermont composers and “pops” in the summer. We have a special concert for children that includes a performance of the winner of a competition for young soloists. This, combined with our performing in several communities every year, gives us a large audience base. With a typical attendance of about 400 persons per concert pair, our sponsors receive very good exposure for a modest expense.
Our sponsor levels are given in the table below. We offer opportunities to sponsor an entire season, a specific concert(s), or to be one of the many Vermont businesses that contribute in a more modest, but still very useful, way.
Sponsors are acknowledged in the programs as shown below.
Level | Donation | Program Listing |
Sustaining Sponsor | $2500+ | Back cover, all programs for a year following the date of donation |
Major Sponsor | $1000-$2499 | Back cover, all programs for a year following the date of donation |
Concert Sponsor | $250-$999 | Front cover for one specific concert plus a listing as Business Sponsor in all programs for a year |

The Business Sponsor listing includes the name and location of the sponsor, and a one-line statement from the business.
