A native of Denmark, soprano Sofie Lund-Tonnesen received her Bachelor of Music degree in voice and opera at the Royal Danish Conservatory in Copenhagen, where she will begin her Master's Degree in September, 2018. Ms. Lund-Tonnesen has performed the role of the Countess in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and has performed in the opera collage Neue Traeume, both at the Copenhagen Opera Festival. Awards she has received include Second Prize in the Young Vocal Artist Competition in Ballerup and the 2018 Bel Canto Institute Performance Award.
Finnish soprano Johanna Nylund completed her undergraduate studies at Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Kuopio, Finland and is currently working toward her graduate degree in voice at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen. While in undergraduate school she spent one year at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini in Trieste, Italy as an exchange student. In addition to opera projects in college, Ms. Nylund has performed the role of Mother of Lemminkaeien at Kuopio City Theatre, Savonlinna Opera Festival Choir and as soloist in Bach's Christmas Oratorio. She is a recipient of the 2018 Bel Canto Institute Performance Award and the 2018 Bel Canto Institute Orchestral Performance Award.
A native of Los Angeles, mezzo-soprano Danielle Alexis Smith received her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance from Stanford University, graduating with Honors. While at Stanford she was a member of the Stanford Chamber Chorale and also performed in the Stanford Vocal Repertory Workshop. Ms. Smith is a recipient of the 2018 Bel Canto Institute Performance Award and the 2018 Bel Canto Institute Orchestral Performance Award.
