Pops Concert & Fireworks

Come join us at the Sheldon Museum's annual outdoor Pops Concert and fireworks. Celebrate Independence Day early with a concert of Broadway standards, pops and patriotic music performed by the Vermont Philharmonic. This will be followed by a glorious fireworks display on the mountain view meadow behind the Mahaney Center for the Arts at Middlebury College. MARC G. DALIO is a native of Sparta, New Jersey, a Cum Laude Graduate of Rowan University with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education, and a graduate of Boston University with his Masters in Music Education.  He is currently the Coordinator of Musical Theatre Studies and a Professor of Voice at New Jersey City University.


Some of Marc’s stage credits include: Gaston and Beast, in the Broadway National Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Best of Denver Award Winner, National Broadway Theatre Award Nominee, Metrolina Theatre Award Winner) as well as the Gaston in the German Premiere of the same, the Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables, Songs for a New World, as well as regional leading roles in Children of Eden, Romance Romance, South Pacific, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Aida, And the World Goes Round, Miss Saigon, the American Premiere of Metropolis, West Side Story (Metrolina Theatre Award Winner), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Metrolina Theatre Award Winner) Pippin, Noises Off, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Currently, Marc can be seen as “The Piano Man,” with NYSOM (New York State of Mind – The Music of Billy Joel) a live touring tribute show highlighting the music of Billy Joel.  


Marc’s voice can be heard on the Original German Cast Recording of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as Gaston, Imagination Productions Godspellas Judas, as well as Send Me an Angel by DJ Cosmos/Mythos, Angel Falls by Ayla, and Always Runningby the Euphonics. Marc co-produced, arranged for and performed on A Wish for Christmas, a CD benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation. On Television, Marc has been seen on ABC’s Daytime Soap All My Children as well as numerous commercials. He has directed, musically directed and conducted such shows as In The Heights, Sister Act, Les Miserables, Avenue Q, Side Show, The 25thAnnual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Smokey Joes Café, Pippin, Little Women, Children of Eden, Cabaret, Into the Woods, City of Angels, Godspell, Once on this Island, Urinetown, Hairspray, Songs for a New World, The Last Five Years, Song and Dance, Barnum, Little Shop of Horrors, Nunsense, You’re A Good man Charlie Brown, South Pacific and Guys and Dolls.


A passionate actor, musician, director and educator, Marc runs his private vocal and dramatic studio in NYC and NJ and students from his studio appear on Broadway, throughout the US, Europe and Asia.
